Group ukulele classes for children who want to learn, play, and make music together.

Ages: 6-10

In a fun and engaging group setting, children will be introduced to the basics of playing the ukulele. This program is the perfect introduction to music lessons or a chance to dive into the excitement of learning a new instrument! The last class in each session will include a short final performance where students will have the opportunity to perform with their group for family and friends.

Beginner: The beginner class is for complete beginners to ukulele or music lessons. Students will learn basic strumming patterns, the C, F, and Am chords, and how to read rhythm notation. The final performance will include the performance of several pop and folk songs.

Intermediate: The Intermediate class is open to students who have previous ukulele training. Students will continue to learn more advanced songs, continue developing pitch notation skills, and more complex strumming patterns. The curriculum will be tailored to the general level of the class.
