Showlab

Showlab is a FREE and NEW program from Guelph Youth Music Centre that will equip youth aged 14-18 with the skills needed to organize and host music events.

The program will take you and a team of your peers through every stage of concert production, including ideation, planning, budgeting, booking artists, promotion and execution. You’ll have the chance to learn from professionals in the industry and organize the kinds of concerts YOU want to see in our community. By the end of the experience, you will have produced up to FOUR concerts!

Hosted by local arts organizer Em Wright and provided for FREE thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Showlab is an opportunity to build all the skills needed to make live music come to life in Guelph, while making new friends and having fun doing it!

Sessions will run from July 2026 - February 2027.

Snacks provided, as well as transportation support.
